ni hao! =D
and happy new year everybody! (sorry for being super late) this is my first post in 2013. i'm so grateful for the fact that 2012 wasn't the end of the world and really really grateful for all the fun i had on new year's eve with my luvli chingus kiki + fitri (well my definition of a fun new year's eve is streaming gayo with your chingus, doing the new year countdown together with oppars + unnirs, & screaming happy new year at 10 o'clock since KST is 2 hours ahead of WIB) HEHE
by the way, i'm not going to talk about how i spent my new year's eve in this post. i'm going to tell you about my trip to Hong Kong!!!! (the trip is actually 4 months ago lol) i went there without any helps from travel agent so i'm kind of proud of myself bcs i successfully brought my sister + mom to HK and back home safely. well there was a lil bit chaos before the trip because i booked my flights and hotel via website and turned out that the e-mail i was using to book the flights and hotel was blocked. thank god the jetstar ppl were nice and helped me to change it to my other e-mail *PHEW*
my favorite part of a trip is making the itinerary since i hate packing so much =P
the trip went reaaaaallllyyyy well despite all the soreness that my legs had to suffer. o and by the way it was winter in HK tho it didn't snow i still had to wear my coat or at least wear long-sleeves. this season allows ppl to wear qt stuffs like furry boots or qt leg warmers; i saw lots of ppl in HK wore those stuffs.
me + sister super like wandering in Causeway Bay area at night (mom was too lazy to leave the hotel). in our l8 night walk, we discovered two qt shopping places; LaForet & Island Beverly. these two places sells luvli japanese x korean clothing but sadly, they're quiet expensive :(:(:(
actually, the highlight of my trip was......the discovery of the hidden Bunkaya Zakkaten!!!!!!
let me tell you what it is. Bunkaya Zakkaten is a japanese store that's full of weird x kawaii handmade things. this japanese store was on top of my 'where to go in hk' list yet my visit to this store was the last thing i did on my last night in HK. i went to search for this store on my last day in HK only with my sister as my companion (sounds like an adventure!) but we failed to find it on our 1st attempt since there was nobody to ask. i'm so glad i didn't give up because on our 2nd attempt (now with my mother), we finally discovered it! the location of the store is really unexpected; which makes it hard to find bcs it is hidden among the garage and window workshops. my first step into the store. felt. japenesely. amazing. (?)
i should have bought more things without thinking too much :( oh well.
